Affiliates of the Tri-States (HCATS) is a Physician Hospital
Organization (PHO) partnership between the Tri-State Independent
Physicians Association, Inc. and The Finley Hospital. This partnership
was formed in August 1994 and was established in part to achieve
greater efficiencies for the partners, particularly as it relates
to contracting with managed care organizations and physician information

a multi-specialty IPA serving patients in northeast Iowa, northwest
Illinois and southwest Wisconsin. Founded in 1987 with 68 physicians,
the Tri-State IPA has grown to over 160 physicians representing a full
array of primary care and surgical specialties. The Tri-State IPA
network of physicians provides healthcare to residents in 29 tri-state
communities located throughout Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin.
